Meet Nolan
What's the biggest challenge in wealth management?
Beyond the numbers, we take time to understand a client’s comfort level with risk. We try to make our recommendations cover all aspects of a client’s life. For example, if a client is worried about risk or economic factors, we can tailor our recommendations for their portfolio in a more conversative way to help them sleep well at night.
What do you love most about being part of Aspiriant?
The friendly people I get to work with everyday. When I was thinking about moving to our Investment Advisory team, Peter, my manager at the time, encouraged me at every step of the way—even though it meant potentially leaving his team. He made every effort to make sure I was moving in the direction I wanted.
What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?
Getting my first job at an RIA was meaningful to me because I wanted to know I was with a firm that aligned with my values. Working here allows me to fulfill my fiduciary duty both professionally and personally.
What quality of yours makes you best suited to what you do?
My preparedness. It allows me to easily recall things I have worked on and be able to quickly access that information when a client needs it. For example, when I prepare for a client meeting, reviewing their past transactions, I might notice something that I can quickly reference later.
