What do you enjoy most about wealth management?
I enjoy collaborating with a team and working with clients to maximize their happiness and help them enjoy the fruits of their labor.
What's the biggest challenge?
Occasionally, short-term market volatility will test our clients’ resolve and risk tolerance, causing them to consider altering their investment objectives. The clients who play the long game and ignore the short-term market noises are often rewarded.
What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?
In my career, I’ve had the pleasure of supervising and mentoring a handful of associates. Watching them thrive in their careers is one of the most gratifying aspects of my work.
What quality of yours makes you best suited to what you do?
I’m an active listener who has dedicated his career to putting his clients’ interests first. I’ve also been battle-tested, beginning my career in 2000 and working with clients through three historic recessions.
What do you love to do outside of work?
I’ve been a volunteer baseball coach for Agoura Pony Baseball since 2017. I also volunteer at the West Valley Food Pantry. I play golf, play hockey and ski. My wife and I love to travel.
What would you be doing if you weren't working for Aspiriant?
I’d be a professor in finance.
What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
Being a husband and a father of two boys are my greatest accomplishments.
