Meet Rachel

What do you love most about being part of Aspiriant?

The exceptional people. I am fortunate to work alongside so many thoughtful, authentic and inspiring individuals — both colleagues and clients.

What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?

I am proud of my active involvement with the American Bar Association’s Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, where I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed attorneys to develop and present educational programs for industry professionals on a national scale.

What quality of yours makes you best suited to what you do?

My ability not only to listen, but also to make others feel heard.

What do you love to do outside of work?

As a self-proclaimed foodie, I spend much of my free time flipping through the latest Michelin guide and planning cuisine-related excursions. When I’m not exploring a new dining destination, you can likely find me at home, getting lost in a good book or enjoying the sunshine with my husband, William, and our Welsh Terrier, Crosby.

What would you be doing if you weren’t working for Aspiriant?

I am an academic at heart, so I can envision myself as a law school professor — writing about interesting developments in tax law and teaching the next generation of estate planners.

Rachel works closely with executives, entrepreneurs and family business owners to design thoughtful strategies that align wealth with long-term goals. In addition to her role at Aspiriant, Rachel is affiliated with Strategic Planning Law Group, P.C., a California-based estate planning firm. She is deeply engaged in the estate planning community through her work with the American Bar Association’s Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law (RPTE). Rachel currently serves as Assistant Trust & Estate Editor of the Section’s quarterly e-Report and holds a leadership role within its Business Planning Group. She was selected for RPTE’s 2021–2023 Fellows Program and is a current participant in the Dennis I. Belcher Young Leaders Program through the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).

Rachel earned her J.D. from UCLA School of Law, completing a Specialization in Taxation. While she does not practice law in her role at Aspiriant, she is licensed to practice in California.
