Values, vision and strategy

Leading an independent and sustainable wealth management firm requires strong oversight and adherence to values, vision and strategy.

Aspiriant’s Board of Directors is comprised of four owner directors, two independent directors and the CEO as ex-officio director. This structure positions the firm to successfully adapt to the transformations and demographic shifts being seen in the industry by bringing a diverse set of perspectives and experience into the board room. All members have extensive experience and track records across a broad range of roles, industries and other board positions that will further support the firm’s mission to transform the wealth management industry.

As firm’s mature, having Board Members who are not involved in the running of the business is a critical next step. We believe governance is another puzzle the independent wealth management industry must solve. Once a firm expands beyond a mom-and-pop business and looks to succeed and scale on behalf of clients and their people, the Board needs to have a broad diversity of experiences and perspectives.

Together, these veteran professionals provide governance that empowers our national firm to provide our clients with service excellence for generations. The group is led by Board Chair Karen Blodgett, MBA, CFP^®, partner and director in wealth management from our San Francisco office.
