Meet Our Wealth Management Team in Silicon Valley
If you are building a career or are an established leader in the competitive and exciting Silicon Valley, consider a wealth manager who can serve as a partner on your path to financial success. At Aspiriant, we have a deep understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and choices facing founders, entrepreneurs, C-level executives, and professionals in Silicon Valley.
Our team of wealth managers and investment advisors has worked with clients just like you for decades — and some of them have even built successful careers in tech and venture capital themselves, making them uniquely attuned to the issues you face. In 2017, we broadened our regional- and industry-specific expertise even further with the combination of Aspiriant and Stanford Investment Group (SIG), a female-led wealth advisory firm based in Silicon Valley. The addition of SIG’s employees means Aspiriant has an even larger professional team dedicated to serving affluent clients and offering broad expertise in all services, including tax, equity compensation plans, and 10b5-1 plan strategies.
Beyond wealth management, investment management, and financial planning, Aspiriant’s Silicon Valley team also specializes in:
- 10b5-1 Planning
- Concentrated Equity
- Corporate Executive Services
- Entrepreneur Services
- Liquidity Events and Liquidity Planning
- Stock Option Planning — Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and Incentive Stock Options (ISOs)
- Tax Planning
- Value Investing
- Women and Wealth
Aspiriant’s team has also been recognized by the local Silicon Valley business community. Helen Dietz, CFP®, partner and managing director in Total Wealth Management, was named to the 2022 Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors list, the 2022 Forbes Best in State list as well as the 2024 Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-In-State list. Nayan Lapsiwala, CFP®, CFA®, CAIA, partner and director in wealth management, was also named to the 2022 Forbes Best in State list. The team also volunteers with organizations like LifeMoves, Momentum for Mental Health, and Family Giving Tree.
No fees were paid for the above mentioned awards.
The Forbes ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years experience, and the algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Date of award April 2022 for the year prior. Date of award February 2024 for the year prior.
For the Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors, each advisor is chosen based on an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative criteria, including in-person interviews, industry experience, compliance records, revenue produced and assets under management.
