What do you love to do outside of work?
Go fishing with my wife and friends, whether it's stalking permit on the flats of Belize or chasing sailfish off the coast of Guatemala.
What would you be doing if you weren't working for Aspiriant?
A test I took in college suggested chicken farming as a possible career path. But really it's hard for me to see myself working anyplace else but Aspiriant.
Bio
Peter has been serving high net-worth clients out of Cincinnati since 2000, and joined the Aspiriant family as a Director and Principal in the fall of 2010.
Prior to joining Aspiriant, Peter worked at Deloitte in their investment advisory practice. He started with Deloitte in 2000 with an initial concentration on back-office client support. After a couple of years, Peter transitioned onto the research team as the Senior Mutual Fund Analyst for close to three years. In 2006, Peter was promoted to the level of Manager and began serving high net worth clients and foundations as an investment advisor and maintains this role as his primary responsibility today.
Peter is a Registered Investment Adviser Representative and has a B.S. in Financial Planning and Counseling from Purdue University. He is also a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) and holds the CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst) designation.
Outside of Aspiriant Peter serves on the Board of the Pur-Du Educational Foundation, primarily as their investment advisor, and is a member of the International Game Fish Association’s (IGFA) Professionals Committee (which assists the organization with planned giving matters for the long-term financial stability of the IGFA).
Peter lives with his wife Karen in Cincinnati. He is an avid fly-fisherman and new tri-athlete. In their free time, Peter and Karen enjoy traveling around the country and abroad in search of new challenges and experiences.
