One of my career highlights includes becoming a partner at Aspiriant, a role I've embraced after 16+ years in investment operations. Another achievement I'm proud of is designing and implementing an efficient workflow for centralized investment management fee services.

What was the most influential book you've read and why?

The Mountain is You by Brianna Wiest. It’s an interesting read on how we as individuals self-sabotage ourselves. It explains why we do it, when we do it and how to stop doing it.

Bio

Emily became a part of the Aspiriant family in 2010, initially taking on the role of specialist in Client Service Operations as part of the strategic merger with Deloitte. With a wealth of experience exceeding 16 years in the financial services field, Emily has been instrumental in enhancing processes related to performance reporting, account reconciliation, data analysis and revenue collection. In her current position, she leads a dedicated team of three in our Cincinnati office.

Before her tenure at Aspiriant, Emily dedicated four years of her career to Deloitte, where her focus was primarily on account reconciliation and performance reporting. Prior to this, she honed her skills as a data analyst at Commonwealth Administrators. In 2000, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and management at the University of Kentucky.

Emily is actively engaged in her church’s philanthropy program, contributing significantly to community-building efforts. Residing in Kentucky along with her husband and their daughter, Emily enjoys many activities including working out, hiking, cheering on her daughter at her basketball games or exploring new destinations through travel.
