Ami joined Aspiriant in June of 2018 and is a Director in Wealth Management and Partner in the Southern California region. Ami is primarily responsible for providing advanced personal financial planning and investment management to clients.

Ami has extensive financial planning experience including her previous roles at Goldman Sachs Family Office, U.S. Trust Company and Ernst & Young Family Office. Prior to joining Aspiriant, Ami worked at Callan Capital, providing advanced planning and asset management to individuals, families and executives. Ami was also a member of the Callan Capital Investment Committee.

Ami earned her B.A. degrees in Economics and Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. She obtained her Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2001 and is admitted to the New York, New Jersey and Washington, D.C. bars.

Ami strives to remain active in her community and to give back whenever possible. Her most memorable experiences include teaching English to children in Thailand, preparing meals at God’s Love We Deliver in New York City, and taking on pro bono cases with NJ Legal Services. Ami served on the Board of Trustees of Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego and served as a mentor for the Financial Planning Association.

Being a transplant from the East Coast, Ami embraces all that San Diego has to offer. Ami enjoys travel, photography, yoga, spending time with her friends, and most of all, her family.
