As part of our vision to build a durable, independent wealth management firm with the talent of our people, Aspiriant is excited to announce the addition of four new partners to our partnership.
Mindy Tankel, Orin Winick, Michelle Nguyen and Corey Mader were all voted into the Aspiriant partnership, effective May 1, that now totals 72 partners.
While almost all the firms of our size in this industry have chosen to sell their company to outside investors, Aspiriant has powerfully chosen a different path — to cycle the ownership of the firm to future generations of leaders, professionals and advisors. Our unique business model is to remain 100% employee-owned because we believe this is the most effective way to remain 100% aligned with the families we serve. Over the course of their careers at Aspiriant, each of this year’s class of new partners has demonstrated their commitment to the firm’s Core Values, and we welcome them into the partnership.
“It is truly gratifying to be able to provide the opportunity of ownership in Aspiriant to this talented group,” says Aspiriant CEO Rob Francais. “We look forward to many years of partnership together!”
The new partners, who were elected by the existing Aspiriant partner group, are:
Mindy Tankel, CFP® — Manager in Wealth Management — Los Angeles

Her career includes working at State Street Bank, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Atalanta Sosnoff Capital Management and KLS Professional Advisors. She moved to Los Angeles in 2000, spending eight years at Loring Ward Capital Management where she was promoted to director of portfolio management. Today, Mindy serves approximately 35 families at Aspiriant. She’s also a member of the extended Planning Strategy & Research team, sharing her expertise in disability insurance and annuities. While raising her children, Mindy acquired the CFP designation and served as president of Friends of Wonderland, the fundraising arm of her local public school. She currently serves on the board of trustees for Temple Israel of Hollywood.
