What do you love to do outside of work?
Golf, try new wines, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
What's the most influential book you've read?
The Millionaire Next Door shattered a lot of misconceptions I had about how people typically become wealthy.
What would you be doing if you weren’t at Aspiriant?
Trying to make my mark on the PGA tour.
Bio
Andy joined Aspiriant in 2002 as an Investment Operations Specialist. He transitioned to the Wealth Management department in 2005 and was promoted to the position of Director in 2012. He became a principal of the firm in 2008.
Prior to joining Aspiriant, Andy worked for Mr. Stock, Inc., an online brokerage firm that specialized in options trading.
Andy is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and serves as a mentor for new planners in the San Francisco FPA chapter. He is also a member of the San Francisco Estate Planning Council.
Andy earned a BS degree in Managerial Economics from University of California-Davis. He completed the Personal Financial Planning Program at University of California-Berkeley in 2004 and earned his Certified Financial Planner™ credential in 2005. He also completed the Financial Planning Association Residency Program in 2007.
