In this episode of Money Tales, our guest is Patrick Veroneau. Patrick found himself in a cush job; the money was great, he was good at the work, and the boss … well … they just didn’t see eye to eye. Patrick was pretty sure he was going to get fired, which turned into the ultimate push to make the leap into a financially risky position of starting his own business. The transition was possible as result of leaning on his wife to carry the family financially during the start-up phase. Fortunately for them, her career was taking off right at that time.
Patrick is the founder of Emery Leadership Group (2008), co-founder of Candor Development Solutions (2019) and also hosts a weekly podcast called, Reimagining Leadership (2018).
He has a Master’s in Organizational Leadership and has trained extensively in the areas of emotional intelligence, influence and personality. Many of the models he has developed are rooted in the research and real-world experiences from these three disciplines.
Patrick has focused his career on helping individuals, teams and organizations reimagine what it means to lead and succeed on a more conscious level.
As well, he is a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, the National Speakers Association and is an adjunct instructor for SMCC.
