Meet Stephen

What do you enjoy most about wealth management?

Coming alongside our clients and helping them make important life decisions. I enjoy building relationships with clients and hearing about their diverse range of experiences. I find the opportunity to play a role in the decision-making process for families to be a great honor and privilege.

What do you love most about being part of Aspiriant?

The culture. I’ve come to find my colleagues to be hard-working, talented and above all else, focused on consistently delivering a high level of service to our clients.

What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?

Designing and teaching a course at my alma mater.

What quality of yours makes you best suited to what you do?

I enjoy learning and then sharing what I’ve learned with our clients to advance their understanding of financial markets and help them feel more comfortable making investment decisions.

What do you love to do outside of work?

Watching college football on the weekends with my wife and our golden retriever. (They are both equally thrilled to watch the games.)

What would you be doing if you weren't working for Aspiriant?

My dream job, outside of my current role, would be the general manager of the Chicago Bears or a college professor.

What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?

Helping families rebuild after Hurricane Katrina. Helping former colleagues and classmates as they started their careers through my involvement with the University of Illinois’ Financial Planning Program. I served on an advisory board and mentored student leaders.
