To further Aspiriant’s goals to remain an independent advisory firm indefinitely and to support the professional growth of our employees, Chief Executive Officer Rob Francais announced three wealth managers were named partners of the firm.
These talented leaders have grown through the ranks at Aspiriant. Each has an impressive list of credentials, diverse backgrounds and experiences that enhance the firm’s culture and dedication to serving high net worth individuals and families with distinction.
“I am excited and proud to welcome this year’s new class of partners,” said Rob. “Becoming a partner is more about the future than it is about the past. Our 2019 class is helping to achieve our mission of remaining durably independent and aligning the interests of our clients and our advisors.”
The new partners, who were elected by the existing Aspiriant partner group, are:
Devin Cruise, MBA, CFP® — Manager in Wealth Management — Los Angeles
Devin came to Aspiriant through the 2016 fold-in with The Glowacki Group where he was a manager of portfolio operations and a member of the Investment Committee. In 2017, Devin was promoted to manager in wealth management and began to take a more senior role with the clients he serves. Devin holds an M.B.A. from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, and a B.S. degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arizona.
Gavin Neil, CFA®, CFP®, MSFA — Manager in Wealth Management — San Francisco
Gavin started with Aspiriant in 2014 as a portfolio administrator in investment operations and transitioned into wealth management in 2015. He currently serves on more than 40 client service teams. Gavin excels in building relationships by gaining the confidence of his clients and can back it up with a breadth of knowledge, especially in investments. Gavin holds a B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Brunel University London and an M.S.F.A. in Financial Analysis from the University of San Francisco, where he recently started teaching portfolio management as an adjunct professor.
Ryan Nelson — Manager in Investment Advisory — Austin
Ryan joined the firm in 2012 as a specialist in investment operations and quickly moved to investment advisory in 2013. He serves approximately 30 clients, primarily in Exclusive Family Office, advising them on investment strategy. Late in 2018, Ryan moved to Austin to help build the Aspiriant footprint in Texas. Ryan holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and is a level III candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Aspiriant’s sustainable business model is designed to remain 100% employee-owned indefinitely. The firm hires and nurtures top talent and is approaching 200 team members, 68 of whom are partners representing multiple generations to improve the durability of the firm and serve clients for generations to come.
