What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?
Leaving San Francisco to open the Aspiriant office in Austin, Texas. It’s one of my most challenging and rewarding accomplishments to date.
What quality of yours makes you best suited to what you do?
A caring, direct and decisive leadership approach and my big-picture point-of-view, with a splash of fearlessness.
What do you love to do outside of work?
Watching indie and foreign films, going to concerts and on road trips and finding the best brunch places or happy hours in Austin.
What would you be doing if you weren't working for Aspiriant?
Writing film scores or umpiring a major league baseball game.
What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
All of the travel I have been able to do over the years. Also, taking the leap to move to Austin and calling this amazing city my home.
Bio
Lindsay joined Aspiriant in 2014 as a Portfolio Administrator in Investment Operations. She has over 20 years of experience within financial services, primarily in client service and investment operations. Lindsay was based out of the San Francisco office from 2014 to 2019 and moved to Austin, Texas, in 2019 to help lead the charge of opening a new Aspiriant office.
Prior to Aspiriant, Lindsay got her start in 2001 working for Blankinship & Foster, a San Diego-based Registered Investment Adviser and remained there for over 13 years. This is where she discovered her passion for client service and operations. In 2016, Lindsay was promoted to a management position within Investment Operations and thrived in a leadership role. In 2019, she was asked to relocate to Austin to lead a team in the opening of a new Aspiriant office. This remains one of her most challenging and proudest accomplishments to date. She has successfully built out a team of 16 client service operations professionals providing world class service to client of the firm. In 2022, she was selected to join the Aspiriant partner team.
Lindsay studied Foreign Film & Radio/Television at Northeastern University in Boston and earned a B.S. degree in Liberal Studies from Eastern Oregon University.
On a personal note … Lindsay is loving life in Austin with all the amazing music, art and food. She makes a point to stay on top of all new releases of foreign and independent film and loves sitting in a dark movie theater to enjoy them with her partner Gabe. She dabbles as a 35MM black-and-white film photographer. Lindsay is actively involved with The Trail Foundation, protecting the beautiful Butler Hike and Bike Trail around Austin’s Lady Bird Lake and historic Paramount Theater.
