Aspiriant Advisor Mark Cecchini Named Top New Talent
Aspiriant’s Mark Cecchini, a senior associate in wealth management in our Los Angeles office, was recognized by InvestmentNews as an up-and-coming financial advisor in its annual list of “40 Under 40.”
Judges selected Mark from approximately 1,000 nominations. Criteria included accomplishments to date, contributions to the industry, leadership and promise.
The men and women chosen for the honorary list “serve as role models for other young professionals and suggest the financial advice industry has a bright future,” said InvestmentNews Editorial Director Frederick P. Gabriel Jr.
And Mark clearly is a star in all those areas. A Certified Financial Planner®, Mark started at Aspiriant in 2018 after spending about six years working up the industry ranks at Registered Investment Adviser firms after college. He teaches classes at the UCLA Extension’s Personal Financial Planning program, sits on the board of the Exceptional Children’s Foundation, and serves as the Financial Planning Association’s NexGen co-director for the D.C. and Los Angeles chapters.
At Aspiriant, Mark partners with his colleagues to serve approximately 20 client relationships, primarily in Exclusive Family Office services. He appreciates Aspiriant’s collaborative culture and enjoys working with “pretty awesome and successful” clients.
“The reality is that our role is very much day-to-day monitoring, communications and preparation,” Mark says. “But every now and then we do get to play Superman, and that’s when it really pays off.”
