What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?
Obtaining a handful of degrees and professional designations. The privilege to use my specialized knowledge to advise many ultra-high-net-worth and nationally known individuals on sophisticated life insurance transactions.
What qualities of yours make you best suited to what you do?
My love for analytical problem solving and my delight at meeting with and advising our clients.
What do you love to do outside of work?
Like many office-bound professionals, I hike, backpack, canoe, kayak, and bike. I also love to sing and am a member of the Jubilate Chorale. I have also umpired professional tennis.
What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
That I got married, stayed happily married and have a wonderful family. My physics degree. Singing lead in a barbershop quartet that placed top ten in the international competition several years running. Umpiring professional tennis for a dozen years – when I still had good eyesight.

Tim provides investment advisory and wealth planning advice to high net worth families. He is also a specialist in life insurance planning and consulting. He is one of the principals of Aspiriant and is a past member of Aspiriant’s Board of Directors. Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Tim serves clients across the country..
Before becoming a part of Aspiriant in 2010, Tim spent eight years with Deloitte Tax LLP, five years with Arthur Andersen LLP, and twenty-five years with CIGNA.
Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Beloit College with a major in Physics. He also holds a Masters of Science in Financial Services degree from The American College. In addition, Tim has numerous professional designations, including a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), a Certified Financial Planner licensee (CFP®), and a Certified Investment Management Analyst licensee (CIMA®). He is Past-President of the Illinois West Suburban Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, a past member of the Boards of Directors of the Milwaukee General Agents and Managers Association and of the Milwaukee Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He is also a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association. Tim has been named a Five-Star Wealth Manager in Milwaukee every year since 2012.
Tim and his wife, Charmaine, and their two sons live in Wales, Wisconsin with their dogs and llamas. Prior to enjoying family life, Tim spent his free time as a professional tennis umpire and sang lead in an international-class barbershop quartet.
