Hike the hills of Marin County with my husband and two children.

Sandi joined Aspiriant in 1999 and became a principal of the firm in 2002. Her areas of expertise include financial planning, developing strategies for concentrated stock positions, and retirement planning.

Sandi began her professional career in 1993 at Ernst & Young, where she spent two and a half years as a senior tax consultant in the firm’s Personal Financial Counseling practice, providing income and estate tax planning services to senior corporate executives and other high net-worth individuals. She has extensive experience in stock option planning and charitable gift planning.

Sandi is a member of the Financial Planning Association and has served on the Programs Task Force for the organization’s annual national conference and as a mentor in the Financial Planning Association’s Residency Program. She has also been an instructor for the Certificate Program in the Personal Financial Planning Program at the University of California-Berkeley. Sandi has been frequently quoted in the media, in publications such as Barron’s, CNBC, Bloomberg TV, Fox Business News, USA Today, The Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle and ABC7/KGO-TV. She has been featured as one of Barron's Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

Sandi holds a BA degree in Business Economics from the University of California-Santa Barbara. She earned her Certified Public Accountant credential in 1996 and her Certified Financial Planner™ credential in 1999. Sandi is a member of the Board of Directors at Congregation Emanu-El in San Francisco, and serves on the Investment Committee of Kiddo!, the Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation.
