Spending time with my husband and children, from simple day to day activities to traveling and exploring the world.

What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?

Moving to the United States from Lithuania in my early twenties, and building my life from nothing to where it is now.

What was the most influential book you’ve read and why?

Leadership and Self-Deception: Getting Out of the Box. It’s a great reminder that while seeking for the root of the problem we should start with ourselves.

At Aspiriant, LLC, Laura serves as Manager of Aspiriant Funds. She oversees regulatory and financial operations of the Aspiriant Trust family of funds. Laura’s industry experience dates back to 2005 and includes fund accounting, fund administration, and public accounting. Prior to joining Aspiriant, Laura was a Senior Accountant at Cohen Fund Audit Services, an audit firm specializing in investment industry, where she conducted assigned audit engagements of mutual and exchange traded funds. Prior to Cohen Fund Audit Services, she was a Lead Fund Administrator at UMB Fund Services for over 9 years. She was overseeing a team of up to eight fund administrators, handling day-to-day client issues, overseeing the production of annual/semiannual reports and board packages, daily compliance matters and coordinating SEC filings for UMB Fund Services’ clients, including mutual funds and closed-end funds. She specialized in start-up funds and funds with unique regulatory structures, including fund of hedge funds and private equity funds structured as regulated investment companies. Laura earned her Accounting Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration with concentration in accounting degrees at Lakeland College. Laura also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
